This Section of my web site is intended to show how to do alignments, balancing, and simple things that many take for granted after using their scopes for a while. When I first got started in this hobby, I struggled to get a fix on the correct alignment star. Some of the web forums were intimidating and I didn't want to ask what others might say are trivial questions. After a while, I realized there are no such things as trivial questions.

The PDF instructions are not intended to take the place of the Telescope Instruction Manual. They are intended as a suppliment and to give a quick guide for those late night setups.
